309S Stainless Steel Sheet Manufacturer in China
The 309S stainless steel sheet is austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel used for applications that require a higher temperature. It has a high content of chromium and nickel which makes them highly corrosion-resistant, oxidation-resistant, and heat-resistant. However, alloy 309S stainless steel sheet has a minimum composition of carbon which enhances weldability and reduces carbide precipitation.
TuoLian offers a 309S stainless steel sheet with custom width and length up to 2000mm. We can provide different grades and non-standard sizes of stainless-steel sheets to exceed the unique requirements of our clients. TuoLian 309S stainless-steel sheet can be cut-to-size with the help of our vast expertise in steel sheet processing.

Resistance of 309S Stainless Steel Sheet

- More resistant to marine atmospheres compared to alloy 304
- Provides outstanding corrosion resistance
- Highly resistance to sulfite liquor
- Commonly considered heat-resistant alloy
- Approximately 2000oF destructive scaling temperature
- Excellent scaling resistance when it comes to intermittent and continuous service

The 309S-grade stainless steel sheet can withstand high-temperature corrosion in all in-service conditions. Following are its operating temperatures:
- Oxidizing Conditions (Maximum Sulfur Content-2 g/m3): 1100°C (2012°F) peak temperature; 1050°C (1922°F) continuous service
- Oxidizing Conditions (Maximum Sulfur Higher Than 2 g/m3): 950°C (1742°F) maximum temperature
- Low Oxygen Atmosphere (Maximum sulfur content–2 g/m3): 1000°C (1832°F) maximum temperature
- Carburizing or Nitriding Atmospheres: 850–950°C (1562–1742°F) maximum
309S Stainless Steel Sheet Processing

- Alloy 309S stainless steel sheet can’t be hardened using heat treatment due to its sole consist of austenite at room temperature
- Higher yield and tensile strength can be gained through cold working

- Can be stamped, roll-formed, and readily drawn
- Needs an annealing method to extend ductility and minimize hardness

- 309S stainless steel sheet can be weldable due to the austenitic class of alloy.
- Equivalent weldability to the common austenitic alloys such as 304 and 304L
