310 Stainless Steel Sheet Manufacturer in China
310, 310H, and 310S SS sheets are austenitic stainless steel commonly used in high-temperature applications. They are also used in cryogenic applications because of their low magnetic permeability and toughness. 310 grades contain 20% nickel and 25% chromium which makes them highly resistant to corrosion and oxidation.
TuoLian has excellent processing capabilities and is capable of providing custom 310 SS sheets. We can customize the 310 SS sheets to any size, shape, thickness, surface finish, and other specifications you need.

Features
- Good oxidation resistance of up to 2000°F
- Excellent resistance to carburizing atmosphere
- Strong and tough at cryogenic temperatures
- Excellent resistance to sulfidation and corrosion
- Moderate strength at high temperature
- Good resistance to intermittent heating at high temperatures and thermal fatigue
- Can withstand nitric acid fuming at normal temperature
- Resists fused nitrates at temperatures of about 425°Celsius.

Corrosion Resistance
310 stainless steel sheets have excellent corrosion resistance at room temperature. They also have excellent performance at high temperatures since that is their main application. At high-temperature conditions, they can maintain their exceptional resistance to:
- carburizing
- oxidizing
- high-temperature corrosion
- aqueous corrosion
- other types of hot corrosion
They have high chromium content which makes them able to resist various types of corrosion.
Physical Properties
310 stainless steel sheets have:
- a specific heat of 0.12 BTU/lb-°F between 32℉ and 212℉ (502 J/kg-°K between 0 and 100°C)
- a density of 0.285 lb/in^3
Their electrical resistivity is 30.7 Microhm-in at 68℉ and 78.0 Microhm-cm at 20°C. In terms of melting range, it usually ranges from 2470℉ up to 2555℉. Their module of elasticity is also 28.5 x 10^6 psi. Moreover, their thermal conductivity is 8.0 BTU/hr/ft^2/ft/℉.

Fabrication and Processing Options
310 stainless steel sheets can be fabricated and processed by various processes such as:
Hot Forming
They can be heated evenly at 950 up to 1200°C (1742 – 2192°F). It is advised to do a final anneal at 1832 to 2101°F after hot forming, followed by a quick quench.
Welding
310 stainless steel sheets are suitable for welding. They can be welded by PLASMA, TIG, SMAW, FCAW MIG, and SAW.
The 310 SS sheets are also suitable for other processes such as:
- Plate leveling
- Laser cutting
- Shearing
- Waterjet cutting
- Forming
- Machining
Mechanical Properties
310, 310S, and 310H stainless steel sheets have:
- elongation of 40%
- minimum yield strength of 30 ksi
- minimum tensile strength of 75 ksi and at 0.2%
On the Rockwell B scale, they also have 95 hardness. And on the Brinell hardness scale, they have 217 of hardness.
Below are their mechanical properties in different temperatures.
