403 Stainless Steel Sheet Manufacturer in China
The 403 stainless steel sheet is heat and rust-resistant steel. It has 12% Cr martensitic alloy which is very similar to type 410 stainless steel panel. Alloy 403 has a scaling temperature of roughly 1300°F. With this alloy, one can achieve good levels of strength, ductility, and hardness.
TuoLian 403 stainless steel panel can be easily tempered at 732°C. Thus, improving fracture toughness. It can be easily hardened by a fan, oil, or air cooling. TuoLian provides 403 plates according to national and international standards. And industrial norms as well. We offer full customization in products depending on various needs.
Leken 403 Stainless Steel Sheet Advantage

403-panel maximum corrosion resistance is achieved by polishing and hardening. It can create an oxide film with high adhesion.

It can withstand oxidation up to 760°C. Continuous service shouldn’t allow temperatures to rise above 649-704°C.

TuoLian is an expert in safe shipping, on-time delivery, and high-quality manufacturing that lowers customers’ overall costs.

Before sending the goods out for delivery, we mark them with information about the product, such as the batch number, client’s name, trademark, etc.

SS Sheet 403 Hot Working Process

Forging is best done at starting temperatures of 2000°F to 2100°F
It requires more blows or a bigger hammer.
Should be heated consistently to 1095–1205°C depending on the level of deforming;
Then forged and air cooled.

Uniformly heat to 815–900°C for optimal softness,
Then slowly let the furnace cool to yield around 155 BHN.
The 403 alloys can be annealed at 1500 to 1650 °F.

Type 403 can be fully hardened between 1650 and 1800°F through oil quenching
Air or fan cooling can be used to harden light parts.
Alloy 403 will harden when cooled from temperatures above 1500°F to different degrees.

Temper at the right temperature to achieve the necessary mechanical characteristics.
It is tempered in the range of 400°F to 1400°F.
It will reduce the impact characteristics and corrosion resistance.

Type 403 stainless is tough and chips accumulate on tools when it is at its softest.
The panel can be cold drawn or heat-treated to produce better finishes.
Can be machined up to Rc 35;if better mechanical qualities are needed.

Type 403 can be successfully welded.
The parts can be warmed at 180/205°Cto avoid cracking for heavy sections.
Parts should be annealed right away after welding since the alloy air hardens.
