Material Testing
INCOLOY 800 Sheet material undergoes a variety of testing procedures such as mechanical tests. That includes tensile strength, elongation and yield strength. Hardness testing is also conducted to measure the material’s resistance to deformation & wear. Chemical analysis & spectroscopic techniques are also performed to assess the composition & purity of the alloy.
Aside from that, non-destructive testing methods, including ultrasonic testing and radiographic testing, are also used to detect internal defects. That ensures the material’s integrity.
