Tuolian Monel R405
Monel R405 is also referred to as Alloy R405 or UNS N04405. It is a free-machining version of the Monel 400. They offer excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of media. That includes seawater, alkalis, acids & high-temperature gases.
Tuolian Monel R405 is used in a wide range of applications, including chemical and hydrocarbon processing, marine engineering, valves and pumps, fasteners production, and more.
Monel R405 is easily fabricated using common techniques such as hot and cold working, brazing, soldering, and machining. This alloy has good machinability and is suitable for automatic screw machines. They can also be welded using GTAW, shielded metal arc, or GMAW.
