X6CrNiMoTi17-12-2 Stainless Steel can be processed and fabricated through various methods, including:
- Forming – This alloy can be formed through processes such as rolling, bending, and stamping. However, due to its high strength, it requires more force than other austenitic stainless steel.
- Cutting – Using plasma, laser, or waterjet cutting methods.
- Welding – Welded using all common welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, & plasma arc welding.
- Machining – Machining of X6CrNiMoTi17-12-2 is possible. But it requires a higher degree of skill and expertise due to its high strength & hardness.
